Full Moon Local Watershed Gratitude Gatherings
The monthly Full Moon Water Blessing is simply standing together on the shores of your local Watershed ~ river, lake, spring or ocean ~ and,
in deep gratitude, celebrating our most essential
life force. You can certainly do this practice alone, however, as one of the key intentions of these gatherings, you are encouraged to open dialog and awareness within your own local community concerning the current conditions of your local Watersheds and how to safeguard the integrity of the Water for future generations.
The blessing ceremony can be as simple or elaborate as you're called to create. Make it a fun community gathering with music and dancing children, or a more quiet meditation on our sacred relationship with Water. You decide the flavor and details of the gathering.
Any of our myriad cultural traditions or expressions of Water blessings are certainly welcomed and honored, and hopefully shared (whatever resonates with you as most true). We would love for you to share descriptions of your gatherings and post upcoming gathering details on the event calendar.
As a starting point, Loving Waters has created an open-source blessing brochure for you to freely use in your Water advocacy. We will provide you with a print-ready PDF file for you to print out and distribute. Please do not alter this file and just print the brochure as is.

Additionally, we can help link you to ongoing Water blessing ceremonies in your region. Or you can check out our event calendar to see what you can find yourself.
